Cherry Trees

Balaton- NEW variety this year! A high quality tart cherry which ripens shortly after Montmorency. The fruit is firm, sweet and very colorful. Young trees grow very vigorously. The trunks may be slightly more susceptible to mid-winter cold temperatures than Montmorency trunks.

 

Pear Trees

 

Harrow Sweet- This pear is very sweet and juicy with a yellow to red blush. It is heartier than a Bartlett pear which it is often compared to both in size and taste. Fruit ripens by mid September. Keeps well in storage for about ten weeks.

Bartlett- NEW variety this year! Bartlett is the leading commercial variety for fresh use and processing. The fruit is medium size with smooth yellow skin and is smooth, juicy, and excellent for canning or fresh use. The tree is very adaptable, vigorous, and productive. Requires cross-pollination.

Adams- NEW variety this year! This tree produces beautiful dense pink blooms. Great resistance to cedar apple rust and good resistance to  mildew and scab.

Snowdrift- NEW variety this year! A sturdy, upright, small tree that is a heavy pollen producer. It has small but abundant white flowers with great bee attractiveness. This tree has shown no problems with mildew.
