Conservation District Events

2011 Marquette County Conservation District Poster Contest Winner.  Lauren Godfrey, a fifth grader at Father Marquette Middle School won the 2011 county poster contest and was awarded a Lake Superior Community Partnership gift certificate by the Marquette County Conservation District.  The conservation district staff voted to award Lauren the top prize in Marquette County for her entry.  This winning entry was then submitted to the Michigan Association of Conservation District's poster contest for consideration.  Congratulations and way to go Lauren!
